Moscow, July 3, 2008 - Companies IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Intel announce the opening of the Centre IBM infrastructure solutions in the Moscow office of IBM. The Center will be held demonstrations ready infrastructure solutions based on products of IBM and Intel, technical seminars, conferences, training, as well as advice on the efficient use of products, technology companies IBM and Intel.
By submitting a decision will also allow remote access through a web portal.

Basic infrastructure solutions presented in the Centre:

• Solutions based on OS Windows, Linux, VMware
• Medium system management IT - ON IBM Director, providing additional fault tolerance solutions.
• Consolidation of IT infrastructure with the help of VMware, CITRIX, XEN, Hyper-V
• Decisions, network infrastructure enhancements Resiliency
• Solutions for the consolidation of Storage Systems
• Construction of high-speed storage systems geophysical, video and media for sharing with high cluster systems.
• Decisions IBM in the field of high performance cluster solutions for different industries
• Decisions backup using IBM software products

As the Centre’s list of infrastructure solutions will be expanded.

Now Russian companies and research organizations will be allowed to inspect the proposed cluster solutions not only in a joint High Performance Computing Center, located in Montpellier (France), but also in Moscow that much more convenient. Basis of Cluster constitute the most modern blade servers IBM HS21 on the basis of second-generation quad Intel Xeon processors 5400 series.
